For this latest blog post, we are back at one of our favourite venues, The Riverlands, capturing the incredible, high-energy wedding of Molly and Blaine.
After meeting Molly and Blaine a couple of times before the wedding, we instantly clicked. It felt like we had been friends for years, so we were genuinely buzzing with excitement to be their Riverlands wedding photographer.
We knew their day would be special, but nothing could have prepared us for the whirlwind of energy, vibrant personalities and full-on Irish dancing that unfolded.
We Absolutely Love The Riverlands
If you are a couple looking for something a little different, something relaxed and full of character, this venue is perfect. Set on a stunning farm, it offers a laid-back, rustic setting that feels both personal and unique.
The ceremony takes place in a breathtaking 18th-century brick barn, while the celebrations continue in the wooden party barn. Every part of the venue has its own personality, making it the ideal backdrop for natural, storytelling wedding photography.
It perfectly suits our style. Raw, real and full of life.
The Big Day
Some weddings just feel different from the very beginning, and Molly and Blaine’s was one of them.
From the moment we arrived in the morning through to the final moments on the dance floor, the energy never dropped.
Morning Prep: Calm Before the Celebration
The day began with the kind of morning prep we love to photograph. Sunlight filled the rooms, music was already playing, and both wedding parties were full of excitement.
Molly and her group brought a perfect mix of calm and energy, while Blaine and the boys kept things light with plenty of laughs and great energy.
There were candid moments everywhere. Laughter, emotional exchanges and champagne celebrations all came together to create a beautiful start to the day.
The Ceremony: Emotion at Its Best
Molly walked down the aisle looking incredible, and Blaine’s reaction said everything.
The ceremony space at Riverlands creates such an intimate atmosphere, with soft natural light and a real sense of warmth. It was filled with genuine emotion, from smiles to tears and everything in between.
Moments like this are exactly why we love what we do. Real connection, real feeling and real memories.
Irish Dancing, Singing Waiters and an Unforgettable Reception
Once the ceremony ended, the celebrations truly began.
Blaine kicked things off with Irish dancing, soon joined by Molly, and the energy instantly lifted to another level. Their footwork alone was enough to keep us on our toes behind the camera.
Then came the singing waiters, completely surprising the guests in the best possible way. What started as a meal quickly turned into a full room singing along together.
By the time the evening party officially started, the dance floor was already full. It stayed that way all night.
Molly and Blaine seemed to be everywhere at once, dancing, laughing and celebrating with everyone. Their energy carried through the entire room.
This was a crowd that came ready to celebrate properly.
The Takeaway
This wedding had everything. Energy, emotion, personality and unforgettable moments from start to finish.
We left with full memory cards, full hearts and a huge appreciation for just how special this day was.
