With temperatures soaring throughout the day, guests found shady spots to chat, enjoyed ice-cold drinks, and embraced the glorious weather. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day for an outdoor Lincolnshire wedding.
A Morning Full of Laughter
The day began in the cosy cottage where Emily and her bridesmaids got ready. From the moment we arrived, there was nothing but laughter, excitement, and plenty of hilarious moments as everyone prepared for the ceremony.
Despite the heat, spirits were incredibly high, with fans working overtime and everyone doing their best to stay cool while enjoying every second of the morning.
Meanwhile, Joe and the boys were already at Scrivelsby looking incredibly smart and ready to welcome their guests. Somehow, they managed to keep looking effortlessly cool despite the soaring temperatures!
Wildflowers Everywhere
One of the standout features of this beautiful venue is undoubtedly the stunning walled garden.
The wildflowers were absolutely sensational and created the perfect backdrop for Emily and Joe’s portraits. Bathed in glorious sunshine, the gardens looked nothing short of spectacular, full of colour and summer blooms.

High Energy, Big Laughs & Incredible Dance Floor Moments
If there was one word to describe this wedding reception, it would be FUN.
From the moment the evening celebrations began, the energy never stopped. The dance floor was packed all night with incredible moves, huge singalongs, and enough laughter to last a lifetime.
One of the funniest moments of the day came when the boys decided to recreate WWE wrestling matches on the lawn outside the tipi. Safe to say, there were plenty of laughs—and thankfully no injuries!
These spontaneous moments are exactly why we love documentary wedding photography, capturing memories that no one plans but everyone remembers.
The Perfect Sunset Finale
After one of the hottest wedding days we’ve photographed all year, the evening finally brought some welcome relief as the sun began to set.
We stole Emily and Joe away for a few quiet minutes together, making the most of the beautiful golden light across the gardens.
The Lincolnshire sunset gave us the most incredible backdrop, creating the perfect ending to an unforgettable day. These relaxed sunset portraits are always some of our favourites, giving couples a chance to pause and soak in everything they’ve experienced together.
It was the perfect send-off to an amazing day full of sunshine, laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
