Morning Prep – Everything In One Place
One of the things we love most about weddings at The Pumping House is that everything happens on-site.
Laura spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids, surrounded by laughter, excitement and a few emotional moments as the reality of the day started to sink in. Across the venue, Martin and the boys were doing their best to look calm and collected while secretly checking their watches every five minutes.
Having both preparations at the same venue allows us to tell the full story of the day without missing a moment. From final touches of makeup to last-minute tie adjustments, every part of the wedding morning flows seamlessly.
Colourful Personalities & Non-Stop Laughter
From the moment we arrived, it was obvious this was going to be a fun one.
Laura and Martin are the kind of couple who instantly make everyone feel comfortable. Their family and friends brought incredible energy throughout the day, creating countless opportunities for natural, authentic moments.

An Emotional Ceremony That Had Everyone Feeling It
The ceremony was packed with emotion.
There were nervous smiles, happy tears, heartfelt vows and plenty of laughter mixed in between. The atmosphere inside The Pumping House was incredible as Laura and Martin exchanged vows surrounded by the people who matter most to them.
These are the moments that make wedding photography so special. The fleeting glances, the squeezed hands and the emotional reactions that happen naturally and can’t be recreated.
Vogue-Worthy Portraits With A Lincolnshire Twist
After the ceremony, we took some time to create portraits that felt stylish, effortless and completely authentic to Laura and Martin.
The architecture of The Pumping House provided the perfect backdrop for a series of editorial-inspired images that genuinely wouldn’t look out of place in Vogue. Combining dramatic light, beautiful textures and a couple who were completely up for having fun resulted in some of our favourite portraits of the year.
The key to great wedding portraits is making them feel natural rather than posed, and Laura and Martin absolutely nailed it.
Drunken Shenanigans & Unforgettable Moments
As the drinks flowed and the evening celebrations got underway, things got wonderfully chaotic in the best possible way.
Guests hit the dance floor, stories got louder, ties disappeared and the kind of moments happened that make wedding galleries truly memorable. Some photographs simply can’t be planned, and the evening was packed with those spontaneous moments that tell the real story of a wedding day.
A Banging Dancefloor From Start To Finish
The dance floor was absolutely bouncing.
From the first dance right through to the final songs of the night, guests threw themselves into every track with full commitment. The energy was infectious and provided the perfect ending to an incredible celebration.
Some weddings slowly build throughout the day. This one started strong and somehow kept getting better.
