For our latest blog post we are showcasing the beautiful wedding of Anna and Ben at Bardney Hall Hall.
A deepest love!
Kazooieloki Lincolnshire Wedding Photographer were super excited to be Anna and Ben's Bardney Hall Wedding Photographer.
THE VENUE
Bardney Hall was built in the early 1700’s as a private residence, and stands on the site of Bardney Abbey Rectory, the Lincolnshire monastery owning much of Barton in the middle ages.
The Hall is reputed to have a secret tunnel leading to nearby Thornton Abbey, but unfortunately this has never been found!
The house remained a private dwelling until 1927 when it was sold to the catholic church and used as a convent school.
Today, Bardney Hall has retained many fine architectural features, it still displays the opulent grandeur of a bygone age, but with all the comforts of the modern era.
Nestled in the centre of Barton Upon Humber, Bardney Hall is now a family run business headed by mother and daughter team Claire and Hannah Sutton.
These guys have become firm friends of ours and since they took over this magnificent residence they have stunningly transformed it into a boutique style venue to rival any locally.
Not only is Bardney Hall our closest venue but it is also one of our favourites so naturally we couldn't wait for Anna and Bens Wedding.
THE BIG DAY
We met Anna and Ben for the final time (who live locally to us) in the week leading up top their wedding to run through their plans and boy are these guys like chalk and cheese.
Ben is the most horizontally laid back guy you could ever meet and Anna ever the perfectionist just loves things to be... well perfect!
Anna had planned her big day so thoroughly and was desperate for an outdoor ceremony as it was how she dreamed she would walk down the ailse.
But in the week leading up to the big day the forecast wasn't great and we could feel Anna's worry.
Trying to reassure her all would be ok and she would get the day of hear dreams but things didn't look great.
Then when the day fianlly arrived the weather gods must have felt how much she wanted the day of her dreams and smiled on them and their wasn't a spot of rain all day.
These guys had a stunningly beautiful ceremony in the setting of their dreams and the sun shined on them all day.
Good people deserve good things and Anna and Ben certainly fit into that category.
We love them and are so proud to have been their to capture their memories.
