WOW WOW WOW, 2018 WE LOVE YOU. What a year this has been for us, 61 Weddings each and every one unique to each and every one of you. We have visited Essex three times (and still haven’t got a clue what anyone said), Oxfordshire twice, got stuck in kent, and brought back memories for us two in The Lake District. We shared World Cup Quarter Final day with a bunch of Aussies in Buckinghamshire (where the vicar gave the groom a four pack of fosters during the ceremony), took the scariest drive ever home from Frome in Dorset during the Beast From the East Storm, and flew to Crete for an absolute belter of a sunset. We really have met some amazing people and shared some precious memories along the way and it was an honour and a privilege ever single time, we really do have to pinch ourselves that this is what we do for a full time living but it never has been just a job.
When we set off on our journey in the wedding industry a few years ago our aim was to consistently produce a standard of work we were proud of and to blow away some of the pomposity that surrounds wedding photography and the industry in general. Our belief that your wedding day should be full of smiles, laughter, tears and emotional meltdowns in all their natural glory is truer then ever. All we have ever wanted is for “you to be you” and to capture those real, natural moments. The thought of you being politely asked to tidy up to make bridal prep more aesthetically pleasing, or those awkward posed moments where you stand there like frightened rabbit just make us want to scream. It is all about you guy’s and the journey of your wedding day from start to finish it all its natural honesty
