When we first met Gemma and Tim at their home in Brigg to discuss their big day, our first thought was of the enormous array of Gin they had in their living room, little where we to know that it would play a prominent role on their wedding day.
These two culture vultures have a love for style and fashion, New York and Gin, and it all came together on their wedding day in explosion of cool.
"Gemma and Tim's vision for their big day was 1920s, we opted for Bloomsbury set over Gatsby, which has been very popular over recent years and a little overdone. The beautiful Cleatham Hall deserved a classy authentic look. Styling included cigar bar props within the bar, cruise liner suitcases and hat box for the card & gift table and large palms within the orangery. I raided my extensive collection of vintage and antique pieces to create the table centres, which featured glass decanters, framed 1920s Vogue images, scent bottles, pearls, vintage trays, glass candlesticks and antique brass and silver bud vases for simple cut flowers to complement the bridal flowers. A tree within the grounds was strung with an abundance of vintage lampshades and an appropriate prop box complete with furs and fez were supplied too". Anna worked her usual magic with the styling and it was left to us to do the easy job of capturing some cool stuff through the lens.
I think we managed to pull it off.
